(Borderlands) An Amateur Ice Man

Amid the chaos of a troubled age, whether surrounded by splendor or ruin, pursuing a great empire or an ambitious dream, standing apart or throwing yourself into the fray, fate never changes. Cause and effect are all just the workings of destiny. In the turmoil of the Southern Dynasties, no one was free to choose their own path. It turned out that the red thread had long since tied us together, spanning time and space. I write of a longing that endures, and a bond that cannot be undone. Ye Haoran is a man with no past. As time changes, he keeps searching for what came before. Even if the way to recover his lost memories is to tie red threads and fall in love. But he's really just an amateur... matchmaker! Is there a way to have it both ways? To neither betray nor leave one another? In truth, what we call fate is only the passage of time and the shifting of space. 1. This is a one-on-one romance, third person, with a slight focus on the top's perspective. Couple: Ye Haoran x Liu Yu. A calm, steady, poker-faced top who is occasionally mean, and a determined, straightforward bottom who dares to take risks and fight. (Forgive me, I'm bad at summarizing.) 2. A fanfic based on The Border Town Prodigy, set during the Wei, Jin, and Northern and Southern Dynasties. The original author is Huang Yi. You don't need to have read the original to enjoy this story. 3. It wears the trappings of a wuxia story, but has a bit of a fantasy feel. It also includes military and historical fiction. The story starts slowly... 4. It may not be historically accurate, so please, history buffs, spare the Luo River series.
