(Digimon Tri) The Book of Life

When she was transferred from the Internal Affairs Research Team to the Field Operations Team, she truly didn't feel the anger, resentment, or grievance others assumed she would. To her, those emotions were rare things she had yet to understand. But after several failed field assignments, or ones that came close to failure, she saw the Black Armor Knight crouching in her living room. She had witnessed his formidable strength and destructive power at the scene of the destruction not long ago, and realized that she did feel at least a little aggrieved. After mentally reviewing the ethical standards for employees of the National Information Processing Bureau, an independent administrative agency, she decided that now that she was off duty, her own life mattered more. "I surrender." She set down the kitchen knife and coffee, then knelt on the floor and raised both hands. "I'll tell you whatever you want to know. Just please don't hurt me." "..." Alphamon, whose head barely squeezed beneath the ceiling in her living room, tilted his head. For some reason, he looked rather aggrieved.
