[Jia Ni Jia] Pet Shop

Stark's pet shop sat in a little alley on the outskirts of the city. That was years ago. Back then, the pet shop didn't have nearly as many breeds of cats and dogs as it does today. There was only a husky named Ultron, a toy poodle named Benben, and a few British Shorthairs. Tony couldn't be bothered to name them one by one, so he called them all Mark 12345 and so on. Tony had found J.A.R.V.I.S. five years earlier. Perhaps someone's cat had had too many kittens and didn't want to keep them, so they'd put him in a shoebox and left it outside the pet shop. It was raining that day, and much of the box was soaked. The kitten huddled in a corner, meowing whenever he heard someone approach. Later, Tony took him home, found a baby bottle, and fed him milk. The kitten clutched the bottle with both paws and drank with little hiccuping sobs. When he finished, he fell asleep in the crook of Tony's arm, his short tail curled around his tiny body. As a kitten, Jia Cat loved chewing on a little golden plastic ball. He'd hold on to it and refuse to let go, his tender little teeth leaving tiny bite marks all over it. Theme:
