[Read This Before You Start!!! Must Read Before Diving In!!! The Author Is Extremely Sensitive!!! If You Don't Read This, Don't Blame Me for Lashing Out When You Leave a Bad Rating!!!]
This story's main pairing is Natsuki Koshimizu X Heiji Hattori.
Ships: [HeiNatsu] [ConShi] [Kaito x Kurenai] [Rei x Jun] [Shuichi x Rena] (I'm listing even the ones that only get a passing mention!)
I've focused on selling [HeiNatsu] for nearly six years! Don't try to sell me on canon pairings! I only write fic, I don't join fandom circles or take part in flame wars! I wrote this story just for fun! Aside from using the worldbuilding and some character settings from Detective Conan, I added many of the characterizations myself! It's 100% OOC! If you see a ship you don't like, just click X and leave. But please don't give me a bad rating just because I killed off a character you like or didn't include one you like! I'm extremely sensitive, and this story is like my child. Please forgive me, but I can't handle a bad review for reasons that don't even exist!
Synopsis begins here
"If you had never burst into my life, what would my world be like now?"
"If you knew that my intrusion had been a gamble centered on you from the very beginning, how would you feel now?"
The main pairings in this story are Heiji Hattori and Natsuki Koshimizu, and Conan Edogawa and Shiho Miyano.
The characters' personalities in this story don't entirely follow their portrayals in the current Detective Conan timeline. They're likely to be OOC, so read with caution!
None of the characters are the traditionally flawless, righteous kind. They all have flaws, and anything controversial comes with a major content warning. Read at your own discretion!
The characters' values don't represent the author's own. Fiction is not real life, so please obey the law.
Koshimizu is a member of Japan's Public Security Investigation Agency (the Japanese Public Security force that Amuro belongs to). The murder case involving Hattori, Conan, and Hakuba is a test of Hattori's abilities as someone about to join the agency.
The most important thing, repeated three times:
Koshimizu's storyline will have yuri! Koshimizu's storyline will have yuri! [Yuri]! [Yuri]! [Yuri]! [But I'm still promoting HeiNatsu, you all get it]
Koshimizu's personality will also differ somewhat due to her character setup. The matter of Junya Tokitsu will be explained later, and I won't reveal too much about Hattori's storyline for now.
I've made a few changes to the story's background. It now matches the Public Security background for Amuro that Gosho Aoyama established. For details, see the author's note in the prologue. :-D
