The Rich Lady and Her Pretty Boy

Huang Bai is a genuine heiress to a fortune. Her ancestors were wealthy merchants in the late Qing dynasty. By her grandfather's generation, the family had moved back to China, where they became real estate tycoons. But she has one problem: no man can stir her interest. That is, until she meets Jiang Ye at the age of twenty-eight. Oh. Jiang Ye isn't actually a lord; Ye is just his name. In fact, he's a pretty boy. He sleeps during the day and only comes out at night to lie low. The first time he met Huang Bai, he slept with her. He had no idea Huang Bai was someone you did not want to mess with! The next time they ran into each other on the street, Huang Bai chased him for several blocks, high heel in hand. Later, Jiang Ye realized that Huang Bai was actually pretty great. At the very least, she could afford to keep him. Reader's guide: 1. Jiang Ye really is very fair-skinned, but he's not a vampire. 2. The male lead has an unusual profession, but not the kind you're thinking of. The premise is wild, so learn to roll with it. 3. Huang Bai really is rich. But the author is broke, and the plot descriptions have BUGs, so gentle feedback is welcome. 4. One-on-one romance, both leads are inexperienced, but weirdos may show up, so there will also be weird fetishes. Read with caution. 5. I can't promise daily updates, but I will write carefully. You can trust me not to abandon the story. 6. The premise is wild, so the setting is an alternate modern world. Anything related to the setting is completely made up.
