At the top of Earth's future food chain are nonhumans. They may look human, but their anatomy is very different.
Humans are kept as pets or served up as food.
The first time the pet Lin Yu met Mr. W, he was lying in a cage packed with people, looking like he was close to death. His frail, pale body stood in stark contrast to his pitch-black hair, which covered his eyes.
Mr. W doesn't like noisy pets, but he has always resisted turning Lin Yu into food.
"The most troublesome thing about raising humans is that they're not only fragile, they also get angry for a long time," Mr. W thought, looking at the back of his pet's head.
"Are you gay?" Lin Yu asked, his little paws gripping Mr. X's neck.
"To be precise, we can have relationships with any species of any sex."
...Mr. W will get a name, once Lin Yu gives him one. XDDD
My writing style is odd, and the narration may not feel very conventional. Please bear with me.
