Off-the-wall version:
This is the story of a king who goes from mighty to weak, takes in the Vermilion Bird, Azure Dragon, and Black Tortoise, and goes around acting cute and causing trouble.
It's also a ridiculously frustrating story about raising a young lord...
Azure Dragon: Awooo~ Why has our king turned into this mess?
Vermilion Bird: Oh~ Little Bai is so adorable like this!
Black Tortoise: Put your clothes on! If you don't behave, I'll...
White Tiger's clone: Xuan Li, hug me~
Black Tortoise: Mm~ Good. Stop being naughty.
Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird: "…"
Some god: Damn~ How did the little cutie turn into such a dominant top???
Some immortal lord: Give me back my immortal pet who knows how to act cute~
Someone: Let go of me! You beast...
White Tiger: Haven't you chased me for tens of thousands of years because you wanted me to take responsibility? Fine, I'll grant your wish... And you, whoever you are? You'll be my human pet for a hundred years to make up for the price of making me give myself to you!
And so, the king wrapped his tail around a naked someone, held the human pet he'd beckoned into his arms, and grandly charged back to the Thirty-Three Heavens under the protection of all the beasts.
Serious version: It's in the intro before Chapter One~ The word count was over the limit~
