Liu Jing knelt on the ground, waiting quietly for Ning Hui's thunderous rage.
Ning Hui hated betrayal most of all, yet Liu Jing was the deepest-embedded traitor. Even if she was willing to risk her life for Ning Hui, she could never change who she was.
But Ning Hui lifted her chin and kissed her, then asked, "Do you still not understand?"
Naturally, Liu Jing looked utterly bewildered. What was this supposed to mean?
At that moment, the maid reminded her, "Why not try kissing her again?"
Wait, kiss her again? Why? Why?
When someone who knows nothing about love suddenly discovers that, besides killing and starting fires, there's also such a thing as love in this world, it's terrifying, bewildering, and utterly disorienting.
P.S. Here's a plug for my ongoing historical BL novel, The Adorable Dragon Wants to Become the Ninth Thousand Year Old.
A love story between an emperor and a dragon. The Ninth Thousand Year Old and the Ten Thousand Year Old are the perfect match!
A cute fantasy style. If you're interested, come check it out!

After reviewing my own reviews, I found that I had read this book 5 years ago... I ran into it again in "Temporary Love" after going around for a while! So wonderful
I like volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4 the most. From the misunderstanding between the two and their separation, to the mutual expression of feelings, the mutual support in the military camp, the sweetness of the two interspersed with the war strategy, there is some warmth in the tension. Maybe I am a pessimist, but I personally feel that Volume 5 is too smooth and idealistic. There are also positive male characters in the article, all of whom are more or less chauvinistic, believing that women are inferior to men and that women should be virtuous and intelligent. Although their attitudes have changed through the efforts of the two, the main reason is still a kind of acceptance based on status and class. There is no way, maybe it is the conceptual limitations of that feudal era. Thank you to the author for the wonderful story. I look forward to more Lily articles from Dada.
The author's writing style is really good. The martial arts, strategy, and war scenes in the article are also very exciting and fascinating.
The author is too humble. I think this article is very interesting. I like the writing and style. Come on.
It's a good story.
Come on
Just let your wife go like this? ? ?
All right! I feel like the emperor is the most pitiable haha
-O--O--O--O--O-
