The Biography of the Lou Clan

The Lou clan was the only daughter of the former deposed emperor of the Southern Dynasty. In the seventeenth year of Jingmo, the deposed emperor ruled with tyranny. The former Southern Dynasty was battered by storms, and war broke out everywhere. The world was on the brink of chaos. For ten years, Emperor Kaiyuan secretly served under the Lou clan, defeating countless enemies and earning their deep trust. On the eve of the decisive battle at Leigao, he returned to his homeland and took the throne. He destroyed the old Southern court and executed every last one who refused to submit. That same year, the emperor campaigned relentlessly, unified the realm, and named his dynasty Dasheng. The emperor wished to take the Lou clan as his empress.
