New story, "The Fringe." I'm making a comeback, and working hard at it. I hope you'll enjoy it. I type using the Wubi method, so when mistakes happen, they can be wildly off. Please help me catch any typos while you're at it... Story summary: Shan has always lived on the fringes of society. After an accident brings her into contact with Sui, a member of the criminal investigation and anti-drug squad, she embarks on a desperate journey far more terrifying than life on society's margins. More than laughter and sweetness, what Sui brings Shan is insecurity and mortal danger. Just when Shan thinks she can start a peaceful new life with the person she loves, something even more frightening happens. What Sui brings her is not just danger, but a... Any resemblance to actual events is purely coincidental. Don't worry about the details, you know how it is. This may be a story about a police officer and someone on society's fringes. It's a serious drama, so if you don't like it, please don't flame me. I'm aiming for a complete story of 200,000 to 250,000 words.
