The Love of a Troubled Nation (Zhan Zhao Fanfic)

During the reign of Emperor Renzong of the Northern Song, Kaifeng Prefect Bao Zheng was traveling the realm on the emperor's behalf when someone stopped his carriage in Youzhou to plead a grievance. From then on, a mysterious sect emerged from the shadows. Zhan Zhao, a fourth-rank imperial guard who carried a sword at court, was a man of honor and courage, protecting the realm and upholding justice, yet he became entangled in the twists and turns of love and resentment. A colorful cast of martial world characters takes the stage in turn, their trials and tribulations unfolding into a tale of both sorrow and joy. The martial world is in turmoil, and the court is rife with intrigue. Endless yellow sands, urgent war drums, banners blotting out the sky. A true hero will risk life and limb for loyalty and love, and shed every drop of blood for the country. Where will the hero's heart find its home? Who will rule the world? Partly fictionalized. Some historical figures and events appear in the story; there is no need to scrutinize them too closely. Theme:
