A jade tooth, a translucent piece of mutton-fat jade shaped just like a tooth.
It was originally just an ordinary family heirloom,
but it bore witness to a love that faded away.
In the end, the only jade tooth of its kind in the world was also reduced to nothing in a smoke-filled explosion,
just like those two people who should never have fallen in love.
They should never have met at all.
