The Lucky Dumpling of the Nineties

Fu Tuan is a hamster-shaped squishy toy, the most popular stress-relief toy of the 21st century.

The day she gains consciousness, she finds herself in a story set in the 1990s, as a little girl in a once-wealthy family fallen on hard times.

The gloomy, taciturn wild boy Liang Lie lives next door, and everyone hates him. He is said to grow up into a paranoid, violent villainous tycoon.

Fu Tuan listens to her mother and stays away from him.

One rainy day, water runs along the narrow lane, and Fu Tuan runs into him at the mouth of the alley, covered in injuries. She is terrified.

Thinking he's going to rob her, she gives him her umbrella and the only two candies in her pocket.

Then she takes his hand and presses it against her cheek. "You can squeeze me. It's really relaxing. Squeeze me and your body won't hurt anymore."

Liang Lie doesn't understand what she means, but somehow he squeezes her anyway.

She's so soft and tender, as if you could squeeze water out of her.

He doesn't take her candy or umbrella. Instead, he turns around, carries her on his back, and limps all the way to her home.

Before the toy shop at the mouth of the alley closed, all that remained was a hamster-shaped toy. It couldn't move or make a squeaking sound when squeezed, so no one had ever bought it.

The shopkeeper casually tossed it onto the rubbish heap.

While Liang Lie was rummaging through the rubbish for food, he happened to find it.

He gave it a couple of squeezes. Its soft, squishy feel was just like the little girl next door named Fu Tuan.

One day, when he was grown up, Liang Lie suddenly realized:

Every time he squeezed the little toy, she would blush.

Fu Tuan: Stop squeezing me already~!
