The Lovely Lin Family Daughter

Lin Qin, the Lin family's second daughter, is her parents' darling and the little sister her older brother and sister carefully dote on. She lives a carefree life. When she returns to the capital with her parents and siblings, her number of relatives suddenly grows. Her eldest brother marries, her eldest sister gets married, and the Lin family's second daughter's extended family becomes bigger and more impressive by the day. But when did a handsome young man with ulterior motives join their ranks? He even claims he's going to take her away from the Lin family and marry her into his own!? This is a serious matter. She must have a proper talk with him! A sweet, healing story, one-on-one, happy ending. Set in an imaginary world, with no historical research required. Check out my upcoming story, A Pearl in His Palm: Ming Tanwei is destined to marry into the Prince of Cheng's household. Her mother, Ming Lang, was once the capital's most beautiful woman and the wife of the Marquis of Xuande. She was suspected of having an affair with the Prince of Cheng and becoming pregnant with his child. Ming Lang and the Marquis of Xuande therefore separated, while the Prince of Cheng became the subject of scandal. Though he was the eldest legitimate son of the emperor, he was never appointed crown prince. To prove their innocence, Ming Lang and the Prince of Cheng have no choice but to marry their children to each other. "Wei'er, choose one of my sons to be your husband," the Prince of Cheng promises. "I will devote myself to raising him into a pillar of the state." The six young masters of the Prince of Cheng's household line up in front of Ming Tanwei. Seven-year-old Ming Tanwei looks from one to the next, feeling a little conflicted. They're all so handsome. How is she supposed to choose? "Marry me and be my pearl in the palm of my hand." The sixth young master is the youngest, but he talks the biggest. "You've got the generations mixed up," Ming Tanwei corrects him. "A pearl in the palm of one's hand is a beloved daughter." The sixth young master is two years older than Ming Tanwei and considers himself quite learned. "I'm not mistaken. A pearl in the palm means someone dearly cherished. Your surname is Ming, so you're my pearl in the palm of my hand." Ming Tanwei is at a loss for words. His nonsense somehow sounds like it makes a little sense? Theme:
