The Godfather's Retirement

Sawada Tsunayoshi felt that if he kept working around the clock, he would die of overwork. After some soul-searching, he decided to write himself a resignation letter and, delighted, headed off to an obscure little place to become an ordinary elementary school teacher.

But not long after arriving, Sawada Tsunayoshi stumbled upon a murder case.

Sawada Tsunayoshi: Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing?

The first time, he could reassure himself it was a coincidence. The second time, he could tell himself it was just a fluke. But when he saw an elementary schooler kick a soccer ball with flames and lightning in a way that defied all the rules, Sawada Tsunayoshi could no longer deceive himself. How on earth could this place be so obscure?

After that unexpected incident, Sawada Tsunayoshi thought he had toughened up and grown a strong heart, so nothing could startle him anymore.

But reality gave him another hard slap.

So what was with the moon having 70% of its surface disappear? Surely that was beyond anything a human could do!

Just then, Kawahira, who had been hiding himself away, appeared. Time for the boy to save the world again! After all, you've done it once, so the second time will be a piece of cake. Go get 'em, kid!

Today, Sawada Tsunayoshi is still confused. Wasn't I here to take a break? Why am I saving the world again?
