This is a sequel I wrote to Ming Lou, the big brother character in The Pretender, because I love him so much. He is the poisonous snake of the Shanghai Station of military reunification, and he is also the cobra of the Shanghai Station of the Communist Party. He is such a resister who loves his country. However, in order to disguise his true face and fight deep inside the enemy, he took on the identity that everyone knows - the deputy director of the new government's special service committee - the identity of a traitor. I remember that he had a sentence that I can never forget. When he was making the final plan with his comrades, his comrades asked him, must you be in pain? He replied, yes, he now hopes that someone can reveal his true identity and tell the world that he, Minglou, is not a traitor, but a resister and a Chinese. He has endured too much, and his image of a tough guy cannot be erased from my heart. If I could be sent back to the era of the Republic of China and let me meet a man like Minglou, who is deep, calm, and values the country and family ties, I would hug him and let him cry on my shoulder.
