[Classic of Mountains and Seas] Nüba

There is a mountain called Kunlun, where Gonggong's Terrace stands. Archers dare not face north. There is a woman dressed in blue, named Ba, the daughter of the Yellow Emperor. Chiyou raised an army to attack the Yellow Emperor, so the Yellow Emperor ordered Yinglong to fight him on the plains of Jizhou. Yinglong gathered water, while Chiyou summoned the Wind Earl and the Rain Master to unleash a fierce storm. The Yellow Emperor then sent down the celestial maiden Ba, and the rain stopped. Chiyou was soon killed. Ba could not return to Heaven, and wherever she lived, it would not rain. Shujun told the Emperor, who later banished her to the north of the Red River. Shujun then became the patron of farming. Ba sometimes wandered away, and anyone who wanted to drive her off would say, "Spirit, go north!" First, they would clear the waterways and open up the ditches and canals.

Ba, a celestial maiden of ancient times, helped the Yellow Emperor win the Battle of Zhuolu.

HITA's "Ba" was truly my gateway to traditional-style music. The lyrics are so beautiful that I couldn't help researching the Classic of Mountains and Seas and writing fanfiction.

For the author's girlish heart! This is love at first sight!
