The Cool, Quirky Guy's Everyday Life at Home

Lin Zhi's uncle was going abroad to travel for an undetermined length of time, so he entrusted Lin Zhi with a detached house, making him the caretaker and asking him to keep the place occupied.

From top to bottom, inside and out, his uncle's house was the very definition of "money means never having to be sensible." Lin Zhi couldn't begin to understand his uncle's thought process. He was just an ordinary college student raised in a comfortable but not wealthy family. What was so special about him that he could keep the assorted ghosts and monsters about to move in under control?

Anything unusual must be supernatural, and Lin Zhi knew himself well. He told his uncle he was extremely grateful for the free lodging, plus a ten-percent cut of the tenants' monthly rent as a house-guarding fee. He was tempted, sure, but when it came to owing someone a favor, even an uncle had to keep the accounts straight.

His uncle replied with something strange: "Xiao Zhi, don't worry about owing me a favor. Someone else will repay it for you."

Lin Zhi assumed his unreliable parents had asked his younger brother to disguise him as a rich, handsome man to attract a good daughter-in-law.

So he moved in, determined to do his best at keeping the place safe.

But it turned out that guarding a house wasn't so simple.
