[Natsume] You Will Return to the Summer of Days Gone By

Blurb:

Warm, damp droplets slid one by one down the neck wrapped in cold wind. Beside him, the child gave a soft, stifled sob, drawing in shaky breaths.

And he gently curved the corners of his eyes.

Hey, Takashi.

Perhaps one day, you'll meet a gentle, kind yokai who loves humans, just as you've always hoped.

Until then, keep believing, and wait for that possibility to come true.

That day will surely come.

Because you're Natsume Takashi.

A story about little Natsume and high school student Chang. This is more or less the final work in the series. I published it as a book, but I feel that, compared with A Journey Through the Years, this story is the real highlight, so I'm posting it in my column too. I'll update daily until all the chapters are out. If you're just passing by, please leave a comment. That's all.
