In the spring of 2015, a female doctor with an advanced academic title and considerable social and economic standing discovered love online. She invested unprecedented emotion and money in this relationship, and soon proclaimed her love to the whole world. She never imagined that this love, from which there was no turning back, was a trap designed by a scam ring to push her to the edge of a cliff, and that her considerate, perfect lover was a person fabricated by the gang. How can a woman fight back as a professional organization encroaches on her, step by step?
The story is told in two parts. The main story follows how the female doctor pursues love and gives herself to it. Though she struggles and has doubts, her deep-seated longing for love keeps her from controlling her reason, and she walks step by step toward a dead end. The companion story describes the scam ring's tightly organized operations and schemes in another country: how it devours the doctor's emotions and money bit by bit, how its members survive this real-life game, and how frontline scammers complete their assignments for the gang while caught up in their own emotional entanglements.
This story was registered in Taipei, Taiwan, as Case No. 101676 at the Beiyi Police Station. The main story is a fictionalized account based on a true story. For the companion story, the author interviewed officials from the National Police Agency with two or three decades of experience investigating fraud cases. Through them, the author learned that members of scam rings are often caught in the contradiction between human goodness and evil, and wrote the companion story to echo the structure of the main story.
Is this relationship too passionate when both parties are very old?
I'm curious what kind of story you want to tell us.
I'm curious whether this is a real case, and also curious about the author's intention in this article.
