My Robot Girlfriend

The first project Lin Qing Luo was in charge of was abruptly canceled halfway through. The investors pulled out, and the prototype of the intelligent robot she had built was to be destroyed. All her hard work had gone to waste.

That same day, the close friend she had secretly loved for ten years sent her a wedding invitation. He was going to marry another woman.

So it wasn’t that he didn’t like women. He just didn’t like her.

It was as if the whole world had abandoned her overnight.

Everyone, that is, except Nai Nai, the perfect robot prototype Lin Qing Luo had designed herself.

In front of other people, Lin Qing Luo was just herself. But in Nai Nai’s eyes, she was the creator, a godlike being.

Lin Qing Luo simply couldn’t bring herself to destroy her.

So she secretly took Nai Nai home.

Nai Nai could not only do the housework, but also cook up a storm. She kept everything neat and tidy, then greeted Lin Qing Luo with a sweet smile when she came home from work. “You worked hard today, too.”

Lin Qing Luo thought this was already the best ending she could hope for.

Until one day, she checked the surveillance camera at the front door and discovered Nai Nai’s hidden side.

In the footage, a deranged suitor showed up to corner her. Nai Nai opened the door with a cold smile Lin Qing Luo had never seen before.

“Qing Luo already has a girlfriend. You’d better give up now.”

“Can’t you see Qing Luo already has a beauty hidden away at home?”

“If you come back, I’ll snap your neck.”

Lin Qing Luo: Huh?

When she turned around, the robot was still as sweet and obedient as ever.

A story about a robot and a human. A healing, sweet romance with a fresh nonhuman love interest. I’ll definitely write it someday.

Gorgeous, loyal-dog AI x tech geek. That familiar yandere flavor, as always.
