I think I've reached the point of throwing out everything and rewriting it all. I even changed my heroine's name.
I reread what I wrote before, and my Lord Shu really felt out of character. The characters weren't fleshed out enough, and I didn't make myself clear, which is probably why some people found my heroine's actions confusing... So it really was because I didn't lay enough groundwork earlier!
Of course, I'll move everything I wrote before over to the author's notes without changing a word. You could say it's like reading two stories.
I'll rewrite the entire main text. To make the plot more logical and clear, I'll make major changes to everything, including the setting!
