Gu Xinxi helps her roommate Lin Lingxin get revenge on the people who smeared her in a game. She only meant to hack their forum posts, but a shaky hand led her to hack the game's official website instead. The company boss finds out, and the game's programmer, Mo Jifeng, gets chewed out too. He is told to keep an eye out for the unknown hacker.
Later, Gu Xinxi starts an internship at the company her older brother owns. She learns that the game she hacked belongs to her own family company, and, by sheer coincidence, gets assigned to the programming department to intern alongside Mo Jifeng, who is in charge of her. When Mo Jifeng discovers that Gu Xinxi is the hacker from before, he starts picking on her at every turn. He never expects to fall for her too. In the end, he finds out that the person he's been targeting is actually the wife he spoils endlessly in the game. He immediately drops to his knees and launches his plan to win over the goddess!
