[Sword Art Online] Touken Ranbu

Cecily looked up into the distance. Far away, a tower in the "Labyrinth Zone" rose beneath a veil of purple mist. The vast grasslands stretched in every direction, glittering in the sunlight, which was just beginning to take on a reddish hue. Forests appeared on the distant northern horizon, while the lake to the south shimmered. To the east, a section of the town walls was just visible. To the west, the sky stretched on without end, filled with clouds dyed gold.

The castle was called "Aincrad." It was a world of swords and battles, floating endlessly in the sky and swallowing nearly six thousand people. It had another name:

Sword Art Online.

Things to know before reading:

* You don't have to pair Kirito with anyone, but the goddess Asuna is definitely mine. (.`ω′.)

* The heroine took part in the beta test, and her weapon is a greatsword. She's a skilled gamer and a sickly beauty (bite me?).

* The worldbuilding and game mechanics are based on the original light novel.

* The author updates whenever she feels like it, but promises not to abandon the story.

* Kirito and Asuna remain a couple. The male lead is an original character. He's terrible at swordsmanship (so he'll have to rely on the heroine); he's a support player who specializes in cooking (so his food is delicious); and he's been a chuunibyou forever (so he can't stay cool for more than three seconds). But he's still a goofball (serious face).
