In this novice author's view, no one can change the larger course of events in the Dream of the Red Chamber by acting alone. Managing to stay out of trouble is already the best possible ending. There's no other way: I'll have to bring in a cultivator to help, and have her transmigrate as Lady Wang so that none of the girls will meet a tragic end. It's also a way to fulfill my own dream of the Dream of the Red Chamber.
I don't want to vilify anyone, but people do have their own emotional biases, and I like Daiyu more.

Especially the section about watching the rain and listening to the thunder. For a long time after reading it, my mind was filled with the scene of the strong wind outside the window, lightning and thunder, and the soft words of beautiful flowers and soft jade inside the window.
The writing is so good, I really don't understand if those black Jia Baoyu characters have never been in love. Not to mention such a patriarchal society, even now, there are a few people like Baoyu among the truly privileged class.
