Stand-In Actor

Han Feng is a stunt double. He's spent years struggling through the entertainment industry, that great big cesspit, yet still can't see a way to make it big. Then one day, on his way home after finishing a shoot, he suddenly transmigrates to another world that seems to be a parallel universe, and inexplicably acquires a seemingly useless System that lets him disguise himself and transform into other people. To survive, he's forced to return to his old line of work. This time, though, his stage has moved from the screen to the real world. The son of a down-and-out father who died young, a girl who took her own life after being bullied at school, a young man who threw himself into the sea after being betrayed and abandoned by his lover, a noblewoman murdered by her husband... He takes on all kinds of roles, completing one mission after another on behalf of his clients. Along the way, he also finds love of his own. Despite the title, this story has absolutely nothing to do with the entertainment industry, so read at your own risk. P.S. The inspiration and setting for this story come from the Japanese manga Substitute Angel. Give it a read if you're interested. P.P.S. There's a golden finger, and this is a sweet, heartwarming story. The top and bottom are in a happy relationship, with no angst or abuse. Feel free to follow Qing Ci's author page: Theme:
