Beneath the Bodhi tree, I wait for you, think of you, and long for you;
Yet I can only sink into the mire, sighing, sighing.
I gaze up at the horizon. Ah, you are so far away.
The torrents of time will bury everything,
And make me sever every tender tie with my own hands,
Leaving me a wanderer forsaken by time.
The years tell of the sorrow of being controlled,
While the wheel of fate in this world never grants a dream fulfilled.
Listening to lies in a land of joy,
In this silent world, thousands of years have passed.
Who will give me back a true paradise?
A short, fictional myth written purely for my own amusement, angst, and self-indulgence.
Updated irregularly, or perhaps never again.
Its status will always be complete.
