Simply put, this story fulfills a long-held wish of Rongrong's. Rongrong has loved TVXQ for twelve years, and they've become an obsession of hers, an obsession so strong that she disregards reality to portray them as she wants them to be in her story: carefree, powerful, and living life on their own terms. Though they entered Rongrong's life as entertainment stars, in her imagination they are so much more than that. They have never been apart, and they have never stopped being the people Rongrong first saw when she met them.
This is Rongrong's debut novel. It has a large cast and an expansive plot, involving vendettas in the underworld and business world, as well as global politics and struggles between elites. Many characters lead double lives and are caught in desperate conflicts. The story also includes sections set in the Republican era and ancient times, with romance that is subtle and almost imperceptible. With so many characters, the first ten chapters introduce the cast; the main plot gets underway from Chapter 11 onward.
