Actually, I'm a Good Citizen

After innocently dying in an accident involving an alien spaceship, Han Xiao accepts compensation from the aliens and transmigrates to ancient times with enough food, clothing, and daily necessities to last one person a lifetime. The Republic of China era is too chaotic, the Han and Tang dynasties too ancient, the Song and Yuan dynasties plagued by constant wars, and the Ming dynasty's secret police too terrifying. So, the Qing dynasty it is. The prosperous reigns of Kangxi and Qianlong should be enough for him to live comfortably for a hundred years. But then... The story begins. I'll do my best with the historical research, though there's more wish fulfillment. Please bear with me.
