Chaos Beneath the Sky: The White Fox

The Gu family was once a wealthy merchant family in Jinhuai, the capital of the Southern Dynasty. Then disaster struck: the master and mistress of the Gu family both died, and the cousins Gu Qing and Gu Xue were separated. Later, Master Zhao found Gu Qing and honored the promise he had made to his old friend by arranging for her to marry his third son, Zhao Zeqi. But Gu Qing was not loved by Zhao Zeqi. Heartbroken, she decided to leave the Zhao family. One night, however, black-clad assassins pursued her, and she fell into a river, her fate unknown.

I'm not very good at writing blurbs. This one may look like a domestic-intrigue story, but it's actually a xianxia. If you want to read about the heroine returning to the Zhao family and crushing everyone, then this probably isn't for you. That's not the focus of this story.

Also, there are so many people writing novels these days, and I've read plenty myself. If any part of my plot accidentally resembles another work, please let me know as soon as possible so I can consider revising it.
