In an alternate setting, Yamazaki lives in an isolated place much like a paradise beyond the mortal world. Hijikata, fleeing the battlefield, accidentally stumbles into it and meets Yamazaki. Later, they fall in love. They promise to marry when they grow up, but before then, Hijikata has to go out into the world to avenge his father. The appointed time arrives, but Hijikata still has not returned... What happened to him? ※Pairing: Hijikata x Yamazaki. If that's not your thing, please don't read.
