An Invitation to Return to Fengjing

A disaster years ago left her homeless, drifting from place to place. Years later, she returns to the capital and sees again the man she once loved, and who once hurt her. No matter how she tosses and turns, she cannot forget his figure. She cannot forget the tenderness in his voice when he called her Xiao Jing, or the way he softly said, "My name is Shen Lin, and my courtesy name is Fenggui." Fenggui, Fenggui. A conspiracy and a raging fire severed their ties. When Meng Changjing returns once more, she is filled with wistfulness. The hero is a gentle, devoted chancellor; the heroine is a cool and composed daughter of a fallen noble family. Do you remember how they were childhood friends, innocent and inseparable? Who brought warmth to whom, and who hurt whom? "Fenggui is my courtesy name. Few people have one nowadays. I allow only you to call me that, understand?" "Why?" "Because you’re different from everyone else." When the lovely scenery is in bloom, you may return at your leisure. Theme:
