In the sixth year of Emperor Cheng's reign, Princess Anning fell seriously ill and begged to be buried with King Yelang, but the regent rejected the request.
Half a month later, Princess An Ning was buried. Before she died, she left her last words. She could not be buried with King Yelang, but she would rather have her ashes spread instead of leaving any remains.
In accordance with the eldest princess's last wishes, the regent buried her ashes in a green hill a hundred miles outside the capital. There was no tomb, no accompanying burial, and no guards. Later generations called the green hill the princess' tomb.
