Ye Zhilan transmigrates into the wife of Lin Yuan, the villainous BOSS in The Legend of the Immortal X, and his one true love. By all rights, she should be perfectly safe. But the problem is, she's transmigrated into a fanfic! In this story, the girl gets tormented in body and soul until she turns evil!! She goes from a lovely white lotus to a black lotus!!!
Was the girl wrong to disagree with the BOSS's edgy idea of destroying the world?! Was she wrong to have perfectly sound values?! The original story says she betrayed him by leaking information to the protagonist's group to stop him from destroying the world, and therefore wasn't worthy of him or whatever... But don't forget, when the BOSS died, she died for love!!! Is it really so wonderful for the fanfic heroine to help the BOSS destroy the world?! Ha!
So, if you want that kind of edgy guy, you can have him... Wait, what? Lord BOSS, you're a perfect gentleman in public and a great cook at home, you can fight demons and monsters, and you're even warm and... Ahem!! Most importantly, you've given up on destroying the world? In that case... Why should I give you my husband! We're the canon couple, okay?!
The pairing is settled.
