A Taoist's Farming Notes

1. Mo Sanfu returns to his village after ten years away, buys land, and builds a new house, making everyone around him green with envy. Mo Sanfu thinks this is the life he wants: peaceful and leisurely. But never mind the jealous people coming to his door. Why are more and more ghosts, monsters, and spirits showing up?

2. Master Huaming reads Mo Sanfu's fate and says he has few family ties and a rocky romantic life. Ten years later, betrayed by his sworn brother, Mo Sanfu returns home to find only his elderly mother and young nephew there. There is affection for him in those almond-shaped eyes. Mo Sanfu doesn't want that affection to disappear. So what if he defies fate? What does it matter if he is human? What if he is a ghost? What if he isn't human at all? Mo Sanfu can still laugh with him as the spring breeze sweeps over a thousand mountains and watch waves of rice flowers roll across hundreds of miles.
