A Fair Day to Seek

Gu Xun was a common-born prime minister. Though he was not exactly a great achiever, he was unwaveringly loyal to his country and its ruler, and deeply caring toward ordinary people. Yet one day, he was framed by treacherous officials. The emperor believed their slander and grew suspicious of him, leaving Gu Xun no choice but to flee in the dead of night and leap from a cliff, meeting a tragic end. He thought his life had come to an abrupt end, but Heaven showed him mercy. He was rescued by a fox immortal living in seclusion at the foot of the cliff, and spent three whole months recovering from his injuries. Once he had healed, Gu Xun felt he should not impose on his host, and wanted to repay the fox immortal for saving his life. Torn between leaving and staying, he suddenly realized... He seemed to have fallen for the fox immortal. That fox immortal named You Su.
