Bai Su: Old Mu, I just shed enough snakeskin to fill a room. Hurry up and clean it all up.

Taotie: Old Mu, I've gotten so thin lately. Give me another helping, burp...

Mu Lin worked diligently and tirelessly here for over a thousand years. Ever since he met Shen Yuan, though, he stopped going home and devoted himself to work. The monsters were outraged.

"Old Mu, you don't even go home anymore? What's so special about Shen Yuan? He's only human."

Mu Lin said, "He's especially tall, especially handsome, especially rich, and especially good in bed..."

The monsters tried not to gag. "We have plenty of guys with those qualities in our pagoda! He's just a human!"

Mu Lin smiled. "You may not think there's anything special about him, but I really do like him a lot."

The monsters couldn't hold back. "Ugh!"

Mu Lin continued to smile. "Look! I used to be the only one supporting our whole family, so our standard of living was low and our material conditions were poor. Now that we have Shen Yuan, everyone can eat their fill before throwing up."

The monsters looked utterly hopeless. "Did Shen Yuan feed us until we're full? We're throwing up because we're stuffed with your lovey-dovey nonsense!"

Rumor mill:

"How come Mu Lin, a great demon who could split a mountain with his bare hands, can't even open a bottle now?"

"Shen Yuan spoiled him, that's why!"
