The Tale of the Fragrant Herb Clerk is a long story I wrote last year over three sleepless months. Looking back now, it needs a rewrite.
It is more or less the same old story: a boy falls for another boy, and the two of them go through all the usual ups and downs.
Rather than a prequel, it is more like a glimpse into the previous generation.
The arrogant Yuan Maojing, the spoiled Yuan Xingyin, Zhao Duan, whose soul scattered into oblivion, Hua Jiang, the monk who returned to secular life, Chu Liao, the reclusive swordsman, and Liu Mo'er, the famous courtesan who turned over a new leaf... the dead and the living.
