Also known as "Reform and Counter-Reform," this is a story about people who transmigrate into a book, hoping to change the original characters, only to be changed themselves. It's fanfiction of fanfiction. The story focuses on the Marauders' generation and leans toward Gryffindor. I wrote it to indulge my own imaginings about how the characters of that generation grew up. Since it's all imagination, please don't take it too seriously if it clashes with everyone's established impressions, especially Slytherin fans'. The story begins when Sirius is three and continues through Halloween 1981. All characters belong to J. K. Rowling. I relinquish all rights to this story.
[Warnings]
1. This story was published before, but I locked it for various reasons. I'm reopening it now, though at least a third of the plot has changed. See Chapter 3 for details.
2. I'm a die-hard Sirius fan. Several transmigrators appear in this story and try to change Sirius, but their role isn't to be butterflies that alter history. Instead, they help the wheels of history turn, including the female lead. The transmigrators come from other fanfics.
3. This is a coming-of-age story with a slow-moving plot and some romance, but romance is definitely not the focus.
4. I don't mind any pairing when reading, but I'm a canon-pairing fan when writing. So no matter how much screen time Sirius and Lily get together early on, Lily will end up with James, heart and soul.
5. Judging by the length, Lily might seem like the female lead, but the male lead's love interest is an original character of mine. Her background is pretty melodramatic... I just want to see whether a girl with a melodramatic background can still have a personality that isn't annoying.
6. This story portrays the Malfoys and the Blacks very negatively, but does portray Salazar Slytherin somewhat favorably. Read with caution if that bothers you.
7. This story is very unfriendly to Snape. I personally admire Snape's later-life patience and resilience, but as a teenager, he was painfully angsty. Of course, Sirius was too, but there are already so many Harry Potter fanfics that whitewash Snape that I'm tired of them, so I'll whitewash my Sirius instead. Honestly, I used to be pretty indifferent to Sirius, but after reading so many fanfics that vilify or try to reform him, I've become a die-hard fan of the original Sirius.
Other warnings will be added as readers mention them in the comments...

Theme:
This ending is so cruel. To be honest, HP has too many tragedies. The purpose of reading fan fiction is to heal, and it only makes sense to change the key plot of the original work. After writing so many chapters, adding the original heroine and a bunch of other people, it took a long time to make the ending of Family Generations unchanged, which is so disappointing.
Having seen the non-v part of Guardian, I can only say that the protagonists in other Snake Court novels are made more cute. If the protagonists of most Snake House stories give me the impression of a slug falling into a collar, then the guardian protagonist swallows the slug alive.
But it's also possible that I haven't read many Snake Court stories and have too little insight into it. Although I have been watching HP since I was a child, I only entered the fandom in the past two years. I didn't read a few articles before I saw that Shiyuan recommended to the article.
Isn't it normal for people to resort to tricks, not to mention that the principal is so smart... And the layout is done from the perspective of peace. I really don't understand what moral high ground the people of Hei Deng are standing on to ask questions.
All kinds of praise for this chapter. . . When I saw the words of the Black father and daughter, I was inexplicably reminded of the author's "money debt must be repaid with money" in the Titanic fanfic. Frankly speaking, the relationship between father and daughter is to this extent. . . Pity the Blacks who rebelled against their families. . .
I feel really sad when I see this, because for twelve years in the original book, no one believed in Sirius, no one! Just because he was a Black. He is the most loyal friend and the bravest warrior, but he is not trusted just because of his origin and just because of one mistake. I think it's normal for Sirius to be so desperate after the deaths of James and Lily. After all, they are the people who trust him the most and love him the most.
I also felt lonely watching it. I spent so much time watching it, but the ending didn't change at all. I'm convinced.
I just can't understand that after so many people were added, the ending didn't change. I'm really looking for fault.
It was well written. I read it in one sitting. Sirius has always been my favorite HP character besides Harry. This chapter looked heartbreaking and tearing. I cried to death.
Your Excellency handled the ending too hastily! The existence of the heroine affects the plot, so is it okay to just make her crazy? Very happy. It's too crude, and it's copied from the original plot.
Lynn did have a child in the end, but Sirius couldn't see it anymore. . . The abuse was so bad that QAQ James and Lily really left. . .
