Blurb
So, what even is a blurb? What do I do if I don't know how to write one...)
The real blurb: Their fates became intertwined on one night.
"When the blood moon hangs in the sky, a great calamity will befall the demons." Luo Ling looked up at the sky, her eyes full of concern over what she saw.
"When the blood moon hangs in the sky, a great calamity will befall the demons." Zuo You lowered her head in thought, puzzling over the words.
Carrying her concerns, she stepped into the future.
Still caught up in her doubts, she set off on a long journey.
Luo Ling and Zuo You met on the day one became the other's master.
Choose a sect, or become a rogue cultivator?
The latter, without hesitation.
Zuo You and Luo Ling got along like business partners who had worked together for years, right from their first meeting.
Choose seclusion, or stand out from the crowd?
The former, without hesitation.
The senior and junior disciples joined forces for the first time, like old friends reunited after many years.
From the same place, yet bound by different fates, one laughed at her own "not thinking of the past," while the other regretted her own "unable to forget."
They opened up to each other at the very edge of life and death.
Zuo You, gravely wounded and slow to recover, joked, "Actually, I come from another world..."
Before she could finish, Luo Ling, covered in blood, remarked, "What a coincidence. So do I."
They exchanged a smile, and she said frankly, "If we get lucky and survive this, how about we get together?"
She answered readily, "Sure, Senior Sister. From now on, you'll be my Senior Sister alone."
As autumn leaves fell, the two naturally embraced, making time itself take notice.
Amid the flourishing splendor of a prosperous age, the two walked hand in hand in perfect understanding, bringing tenderness to the years.
"When the blood moon hangs in the sky, why should a great calamity befall the demons?" she asked.
"When the blood moon hangs in the sky, it need not mean a great calamity for the demons," she replied.
A full moon quietly shed its bloody hue in that instant, returning to its pure, bright white.
May time slow its hurried pace, and let every beautiful thing be frozen in this moment...

(I've built a rather large world, so the story starts slowly. I hadn't quite gotten into the swing of things at the beginning, so the style of the first few chapters is a little different from what follows. The change in the heroine's personality from the early chapters onward will also be explained... All right, really, I just messed up the first few chapters _(:з"∠)_
Also: I don't have any chapters saved up, so updates will be irregular, but don't worry, I won't abandon the story.
