A Flaw in Perfection

"Senior Brother!" Realizing something was wrong, Bai Yan hurried forward and wrapped his arms around Bai Ze. "Zhao! Huan!" Bai Yan, usually gentle toward everyone, darkened his expression and glared coldly at Zhao Huan. Zhao Huan looked as if he were enjoying the show. Bai Yan felt a flicker of doubt and caution, but there was no way he was letting him get away with this! Suddenly, a hand clamped tightly around Bai Yan's arm. Bai Yan froze and looked down at the person in his arms, utterly astonished. Bai Ze's eyes were squeezed shut, his face flushed, his teeth biting hard into his lip. A scorching heat radiated from the hand Bai Yan held. It seemed Bai Ze sensed Bai Yan watching him, because he slowly opened his eyes. Those eyes, usually as cold as ice, now seemed to melt into pools of water, glistening with tears. His gaze was conflicted and lost; his eyes were rimmed red, and his long lashes trembled. Bai Yan's breath caught. He could feel Bai Ze's burning heat gradually spreading to him. "Mm..." Tiny, uncontrollable moans slipped between Bai Ze's teeth. At last, someone noticed what was happening. One pair of eyes after another turned toward Bai Yan, only to be drawn at once to the person in his arms. The entire audience hall fell into an eerie silence. Bai Ze's increasingly ragged breathing rang clearly in everyone's ears, somehow carrying a suggestive note. Bai Yan's expression finally darkened. He shielded the person in his arms with an impassive face, his murderous gaze sweeping slowly over those who coveted him before fixing on Zhao Huan atop the dais. Theme:
