[System] Law Enforcement

[Note: The author is currently updating A History of the Villain's Many Ways to Clear His Name] ◎ The author often comes across all kinds of ways to die while reading, followed by the protagonist getting bound to a System, refusing to do all sorts of missions, sulking and ordering the System around, acting all aggrieved and coy... ◎ To that, the author has just one thing to say: You, are, being, ridiculous, as, hell! ◎ And besides, are all the Systems these days picking shut-in guys as their Hosts? Seriously, what a joke! The System must be blind! ◎ So this story is just for venting. Read at your own risk. ◎ Here is the blurb: ◎ Chu Xiunuo is a System enforcer. In short, he deals with all kinds of Hosts who are melodramatic and violate the rules, as well as all kinds of substandard, useless Systems that hold back their excellent Hosts. He then submits mission reports to the main System hub, which rebinds the Systems and Hosts that have been dragged down. ◎ Chu Xiunuo has an enforcement System, one that specifically selects missions for him. To make the disappearance of certain Hosts and Systems seem justified, he has to make sure their missions as "unqualified" candidates fail spectacularly. ◎ They are special beings known only to Systems, an open secret among them. ◎ Enforcement System: [Host, System 1283 has submitted a mission request, asking us to deal with its newly bound Host.] ◎ Chu Xiunuo: "Where's the evidence?" ◎ Enforcement System: [The Host bound to System 1283 has completed three missions in total, and slacked off on every one, completely ruining the favorable situations System 1283 worked so hard to create. What's more, after System 1283 expended System energy to save its Host's soul, the Host launched a mental attack against it, seriously violating the rules. System 1283 says: It's had enough of this weirdo, seriously.] ◎ Chu Xiunuo: "...You added that last part yourself, didn't you?" ◎ Enforcement System: [Yes, my dear Host. Even after encountering Hosts like this so often, I still can't understand where they get the confidence to think they won't die. Are you taking the mission or not?] ◎ Chu Xiunuo: "= = System, you're getting worked up. Of course I'll take it." ◎ Enforcement System: [Excellent. Then, Host, System 0974 has also posted a mission. Its Host is truly awful. Although her performance in the worlds she has conquered is quite good, the resentment of the targets she has conquered has become too much for System 0974 to bear. System 0974 requests enforcement intervention to reform its Host. System 0974 says: If her scummy nature is fixed, she could be considered an excellent Host.] ◎ Chu Xiunuo: "Ah, being scummy really does call for some training... Next." ◎ Enforcement System: [Certainly, my dear Host.] ◎ Warning: bumps ahead: ◎ ① The protagonist will not have a fixed male love interest. Each world will have a love interest, male or female, but the protagonist is definitely a man and that won't change. ◎ ② The protagonist may seem scummy to you, but in every world, once he finds someone he likes, he'll be with that person in that world and grow old together with them. (P.S. The author doesn't think that's scummy. After all, he has only one lover in each world, and the protagonist will stay by each lover's side for their whole life.) ◎ ③ The protagonist will fall for women too, even though the author is firmly on Team Bottom Protagonist. ◎ ④ There is no outline for any of the worlds.
