Night of Reincarnation

Serious blurb: As six armies clash, evil is poised to return.

In 2045, the first full-dive virtual reality game, Night of Reincarnation, was released. Developed by a studio of the same name, the immersive online game took the world by storm with its flawless, lifelike experience.

Twenty-four-year-old Wu Yi is a timid, spineless man in real life, with a gloomy and withdrawn personality. He's also gay. He makes a living writing novels, but his work has never caught on, and he's long been frustrated by his lack of success.

Wu Yi has always had a secret crush on an upperclassman from university. When he hears that the man has also joined the Night of Reincarnation craze, Wu Yi grits his teeth and buys an outrageously expensive gaming pod, stepping into the supposedly perfect game world.

But he never imagined it would change his life.

In the real world, he's an ordinary man who's timid, weak, and accomplished nothing.

In the game world, he's an unrestrained, arrogant gaming god, second to none.

PS: A full-dive VR game story about a timid protagonist gradually changing himself.

This is a companion series to Escape from the Infinite Rooms. It shares some of that story's setting, but you can still read this one smoothly even if you haven't read the other.
