Dream of the Red Chamber + Primordial Wilderness: I Cannot Forget My Beloved

Scene One: "Princess, there's also a document from the Minister of Personnel..." Su Yan raised the document to her nose and gave it a firm sniff. Then she reached out and, without the slightest hurry, dropped it into the trash can. "Sorry, what were you saying?" Scene Two: "No, no, no. How could we treat a successful candidate in the imperial examinations like this?" Su Yan waved her hand, her peach-blossom eyes tilting slightly. "As the head of a county, the magistrate ventured onto the battlefield to stop the refugees from rebelling. Outnumbered, he finally gave his life for his country. What a tragedy! Our nation has such a brave man, a paragon for all generations!" "As for why there's a knife mark on the horse's backside... Hmm, did that happen?" Scene Three: "Also, could you let go of me? The ghosts outside really aren't that scary." He tried to pull his sleeve out of her arms, but she only grew more frightened, clinging to him like an octopus and gripping him even tighter. Wasn't a man and a woman supposed to keep their distance? Scene Four: "I'm a princess who grew up deep in the palace, ignorant of the world's dangers. I saw something so awful and got carried away, so it's no wonder I let something slip..." Su Yan picked up a handkerchief and dabbed at the corners of her slightly reddened eyes. Her peach-blossom eyes brimmed with tears, and she looked as pitiful as a lotus flower swaying beneath the weight of rain. "Sob, sob, how could they be so heartless, so shameless, so unreasonable? It's just too scary, boohoohoo." Tongtian got goosebumps all over from this weirdo. Even worse... he actually thought she was a little cute, making faces at him while she squeaked in that shrill voice? What on earth was wrong with his taste? A seemingly well-behaved heroine who's actually a shameless, mischievous little hooligan X a powerful, aloof, protective hero. The heroine isn't kind or magnanimous, but she's not cold-blooded either. She's calm, strong, and adorable. I originally wanted to write a Dream of the Red Chamber fanfic, but given the problem with the male lead, I decided a crossover would be better. Warning!!! This story is silly, fluffy, and sweet! No love triangles or ambiguous relationships, and it's strictly 1v1. The male lead is Tongtian, so don't root for the wrong side.
