He was heaven's favored son.
He was a battle-hardened god of war.
He conquered France.
He was King of England, Henry V.
During his brief nine-year reign, he achieved military glories unmatched by any other English king of the Middle Ages.
Yet he died young. His life ended at thirty-five, and his glorious deeds gradually faded into the long river of history...
Please note:
1. This is a fanfic about Henry V from The Hollow Crown, played by Tom Hiddleston. I may also refer to actual history a little.
2. The heroine transmigrates and is his canon wife, the French princess Catherine of Valois, who makes me green with envy.
3. This story is a flight of fancy meant to change our king's early death, so it includes a golden finger. The heroine brings medicine for malaria with her when she transmigrates: chloroquine, primaquine, chloroquine plus primaquine. (Why do these words become unreadable when I put them together? = =)
4. Apart from Romeo and Juliet, which I studied in middle school, I haven't read any other Shakespeare. So don't expect an elegant, literary style. The characters may be OOC. Actually, they're very likely to be OOC. After all, our king is so commanding and mighty, and I really don't have the confidence to capture his character.
