The Bystander Top Keeps Making Cameos in Restricted Comics

You are a background character. Yes, the kind from mature comics. To be clear, your job is being a background character.

The leads' tangled love and hate have something to do with you, and nothing to do with you.

After all, when the power of the plot drags you into a scene to do some work, all you have to do is keep your head down and get on with it.

You've seen all kinds of strange scenes, and often marvel at the author's imagination. He sure had fun drawing them, but they're the ones who suffer... no, background characters like you.

"Background character, we need you to provide plot support over here. Wrap up the last one and get over here, now!"

"...Oh."

How is this miserable life any different from when I was a corporate wage slave? [Throws hands up!]

Enough! I want to go on strike!

Comment section:

Reader A: Hey, this background character has a pretty nice build.

Reader B: I recognize him!

Reader C: He doesn't even have a face. How can you recognize him?

Reader B: You're so clueless. I recognized his dick! [Confident]

Everyone is shocked: You can do that?

Reader B: I'm an artist. This guy's dick is drawn the best, so I recognized it at a glance! All my reference material lately has been him. I'm in love!

Everyone: ...That's insane!

A few things to make clear:

1. The background character is the top, and has no other defining traits.

2. The background character's name is Lu Ren.

3. He has no love interest. He's just an overworked "wage slave" who wants to go on strike, rest, and take a vacation.

4. Please don't worry about whether the other characters are pure or not. It's beside the point.

5. This might actually be about a universally adored background character???

Theme: Only in its simplicity can something feel natural.
