Immortal melodies and flowing clouds, a troubled age turned to sorrow.
Strings tremble and ring, stirring the silence.
This is a story set in a time of chaos.
Emperor Song Ling, who possessed an immortal body, paid with his soul's destruction
for a promise to spend ten lifetimes as husband and wife with his beloved consort, Yun Ying.
But in the ninth lifetime, Su Yao appeared,
and at her side was Xi Mu, who just wouldn't leave no matter how often she drove him away.
A thousand years of love: how can it begin anew? As the melody of Lingyun drifts by, everything returns to its starting point.
The people we loved are still here, but how can wounded hearts be healed?
