Because of my work, I've come into contact with too many women like the ones in these stories. Some gave up on themselves, while others just went along with the flow. Only a handful, or even fewer, chose a different life. I've spent a long time trying to change things and help this group, but it feels like far too few people have received help, while this problem is far too common in our society. Then, one day, I suddenly wanted to write a book about it. I hope this book can help more women understand that they need to have a life of their own before they can have a better life and better relationships. Only when you become a sun yourself can you bring more sunshine.
I hope more women will read this book and, like the protagonist, gradually find their own way through life. To keep the story from becoming too dull, I've also woven in some beautiful love stories. The male leads in the story represent several typical kinds of men in our society. All the protagonists, male and female, reflect a group of people who strive for a happy, fulfilling life. They all yearn for the same kind of life, but too many negative things in society have covered up the best in each of them. We have to work hard to attain the good things.
This book won't be as fantastical and beautiful as many online novels. It may show more of the cruelty of real life. I hope it can leave readers with something to reflect on.
