I've loved the Lesser Thunderclap Temple arc since I was a kid, but it has way too many plot holes, and Old Bull's family drama is so annoying. So I let my imagination run wild. Basically, there's no way the Great Sage would surrender~

This is a fanfic based on the Journey to the West series produced by TVB in 1996 and 1998. All characters and their personalities are based on the two 1998 Journey to the West series. The Long-Armed Ape and Yellow-Brow Patriarch, among others, are based on the Lesser Thunderclap Temple arc in Journey to the West II. This story branches off from episode 21.
