Every school has its own sensational ghost stories: a staircase whose number of steps suddenly changes, strange noises in the classroom building in the middle of the night, a mysterious woman in white wandering around the girls' dormitory. They add a touch of mystery to the otherwise monotonous campus life.
Five students from County No. 1 High School form a ghost-hunting squad. Mo Shenggu, who chooses not to believe in ghosts because he's afraid of them; Bai Rui, a fearless, burly guy; A-Lu and Xia Fenglin, who are fascinated by supernatural events; and Li You, naturally timid but willing to join just to get closer to Xia Fenglin. Together, the five set off down the road of no return in pursuit of ghosts.
Along the way, Shenggu grows ever closer to the mysterious and gloomy intern, Teacher Chi. The secrets surrounding Teacher Chi are about to be revealed, but Xia Fenglin and A-Lu die one after another in strange circumstances. What force is behind it all, and who will be the next to lose their life?
This is an officially sanctioned fanfic of sorts, with character settings much like those in the original story (though their relationships and fates are naturally different). It's a 20,000-character short story that I wrote for fun, so please feel free to read it just for fun, too~
